Get a Bump in Color With Roland Orange and Red EUV5 Inks
CMYK ink sets are limiting when it comes to achieving brand-specific colors. The new Orange and Red options widen the EUV5 color gamut significantly, enabling LEC2-640 and LEC2-330 users to target previously unreachable colors. Reaching these new areas of color will allow you to better and more efficiently reproduce specific brand colors and create the most accurate and professional print projects for your clients.

Orange and Red Options for Added Color Accuracy
CMYK + Orange + Red expands the color gamut by approximately 20%, thereby increasing the number of Pantone colors reproduced by approximately 200 colors compared to four-color CMYK. Orange and Red process color options allow you to hit specific Red to Orange areas and other challenging color areas with a wide range of new spot color references now available in the new Roland DG Color Library. Specific Pantone® or DIC colors that were previously difficult to match can now be achieved.
The color difference is in the smoothness of gradation and gradients, and the bold contrast and color saturation – providing output with a new level of brightness and complexity. In addition to the new Orange and Red options, EUV5 inks are available in CMYK, Gloss, White and Primer. Together with Roland DG’s new True Rich Color II print setting, these inks produce stunning graphics, with neutral grays, smooth gradations, and natural skin tones.
