Print perfect pads have a similar purpose as heat printing pillows but work differently. While heat printing pillows allow the zippers and seams to depress into the pillow, print perfect pads actually raise the printing area to work around these elements. They are also the recommended accessory for screen printed or digital transfers because they maintain even pressure.
A cover sheet is an essential heat printing accessory and will protect the design from the heated upper platen. While heat is needed to activate the adhesive to adhere to the garment, you don’t want any residue or debris to melt onto the upper platen.
Designed to reduce the risk of scorch marks on heat-sensitive polyester or synthetic fabrics, this heated lower platen has a built-in heat printing pillow.
