MDO sign board consists of marine-grade wood which is then primed, painted, and sealed for protection. Also offered in Raw and Primed only. The sign can be cleaned with a wet cloth or with detergent. Because it consists of wood, screws can be put through it.
It is constructed of a medium density overlay applied to plywood with douglas fir/hemlock construction, manufactured with a 1 step layup, has a waterproof glue bond
The working face consists of natural (brown), resin impregnated MDO cellulose overlay
Edges are factory sawn, without edge treatment
Fill, prime and top coat all exposed wood with at least two coats of acrylic, polyurethane or polyurethane-acrylic primers and paints or exterior grade caulking
